Privacy policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
FoxySim is a travel eSIM app operated by MontiGate, LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use the FoxySim app or this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it to what the service actually needs.
Which app this covers
This policy applies to the FoxySim mobile app published by MontiGate, LLC on the Apple App Store (app id 6814873676) and on Google Play (package name com.montigate.esim), and to the website at foxywall.xyz.
What we collect
We collect the following, and nothing that the app does not need to work:
- Account details: your email address and name, and the identifier from Apple or Google if you sign in with them. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.
- Purchase details: the plan you bought, the price and date, and the transaction identifier from our payment processor, Paddle. We never see or store your full card number.
- eSIM details: the eSIM identifier (ICCID), activation code and data usage of plans you buy, which we receive from our connectivity provider in order to deliver and manage them.
- Device details: device model, operating system version, app version, language, and whether the device supports eSIM.
- Push notification token, if you allow notifications, so we can tell you when an eSIM is ready or running low.
- Support conversations, if you contact us through the in-app chat, which runs on Chatwoot.
- Attribution data: with your permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (and the equivalent on Android), AppsFlyer records which advertisement or link led you to install the app.
- Website analytics: aggregate page views on this site. We do not use advertising cookies on the website.
Why we use it
We use this information to:
- Create and secure your account and sign you in.
- Sell, deliver, install and top up eSIM plans, and show you your remaining data.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Send service messages such as purchase confirmations and, if you opt in, notifications about your eSIM.
- Answer support requests.
- Understand which marketing channels bring people to the app, and measure that the app works.
- Comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting rules.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We share it only with providers that are needed to run the service, each bound to use it solely for that purpose:
- Airalo, our connectivity provider, which issues and manages the eSIM profiles.
- Paddle, our merchant of record and payment processor.
- Google Firebase, for authentication, our database, push notifications and app infrastructure.
- AppsFlyer, for install attribution, only when you have allowed tracking.
- Chatwoot, for support chat.
- Apple and Google, through the app stores, under their own policies.
Tracking permission
On iOS the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission during onboarding. If you decline, the app still works fully; we simply do not link your install to an advertising campaign. You can change the choice at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, Tracking.
How long we keep it
Account and order records are kept while your account exists and for as long as tax and accounting law requires afterwards, typically seven years for purchase records. eSIM technical details are kept for the life of the plan plus a reasonable period for support. Support conversations are kept for two years. Attribution data is kept for the retention period set in AppsFlyer, which is currently 90 days for raw events.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to receive a copy, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below.
You can delete your account and its data from within the app under Settings, or by submitting a deletion request. Deletion removes your account, profile and eSIM records within 30 days; purchase records required by law are retained for the statutory period only.
Full instructions and the request form are on our Delete your data page (also available at montigate.com).
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with providers that maintain industry-standard safeguards. Access inside our team is limited to people who need it to provide support or operate the service.
Children
FoxySim is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
Our providers operate in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves your country, we rely on the providers' standard contractual protections.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
